Product Identification

How to identify a heavy-duty clutch by OE number

An OE or aftermarket reference is the fastest starting point, but it should be checked together with the physical clutch and vehicle configuration before an order is confirmed.

1. Record every visible reference

Photograph stamped, engraved and printed numbers on both sides of the clutch component. Keep spaces, dots and hyphens in the original photo even though search systems may normalize them.

  • Primary OE or manufacturer reference
  • Cross-reference or superseded number
  • Vehicle, engine and transmission model
  • Any label, casting or batch marking

2. Confirm the physical profile

Two parts can share a vehicle family and still differ in diameter, spline, hub offset, release type or mounting height. These differences must be checked before treating a cross-reference as interchangeable.

  • Outside diameter and friction diameter
  • Spline count and spline outside diameter
  • Hub height, spring arrangement and damper profile
  • Push-type or pull-type release configuration

3. Send a complete matching request

For a faster quotation, send the OE number, front and back photos, dimensions, vehicle information and required quantity in one message. CHUANGJIN uses these inputs as a matching record, not a vehicle-level fitment guarantee based on the brand name alone.
